How to use the Markdown previewer

  1. Type or paste Markdown in the left pane.
  2. The right pane renders it live — headings, bold, lists, links, code, quotes.
  3. Click Copy rendered HTML to grab the output for your CMS or docs.

Markdown without the mystery

Markdown is the closest thing the internet has to a universal writing format: README files, documentation, chat apps, note tools, and static site generators all speak it. The catch is that every renderer has quirks, so writing blind and hoping it looks right is a losing game. A live preview closes the loop — you see instantly whether your heading levels nest correctly, whether that nested list actually nested, and whether your link syntax has a stray parenthesis. This previewer covers the core syntax: headings, bold, italic, inline code, fenced code blocks, ordered and unordered lists, links, blockquotes, and horizontal rules. One honest limitation: tables are not rendered in this build — they are coming. Everything renders locally in your browser, so drafts of unreleased docs stay private, and the copy-HTML button gives you clean markup to paste wherever you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Which Markdown syntax is supported?

Headings, bold, italic, inline code, fenced code blocks, ordered and unordered lists, links, blockquotes, and horizontal rules — the core set you use 95% of the time.

Are tables supported?

Not yet — table syntax is on the roadmap. For now, tables render as plain text.

Can I copy the rendered HTML?

Yes — the Copy rendered HTML button puts clean markup on your clipboard, ready to paste into a CMS or documentation tool.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. Rendering happens entirely in your browser, so private drafts and unreleased docs stay on your device.
