Clean lists in seconds
Duplicate lines creep into lists everywhere: email lists exported twice, keyword research pasted from three tools, inventory counts merged from spreadsheets, survey responses copied by hand. Cleaning them manually is exactly the kind of mind-numbing work computers exist to do. Unlike sorting-based dedupers that scramble your order, this tool keeps the first occurrence of every line exactly where it was — important when your list is ranked, chronological, or otherwise meaningful. The ignore-case option catches the sneaky duplicates like "New York" vs "new york" that exact matching misses, and the stats line tells you precisely how many lines were dropped so you can sanity-check the result. It handles thousands of lines instantly, entirely in your browser, so sensitive data like customer emails never leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
Does it keep my original order?
Yes. The first occurrence of each unique line stays exactly where it was; only later repeats are removed. Nothing is sorted or rearranged.
What counts as a duplicate?
By default, lines must match character-for-character. Turn on 'Ignore case' to also merge lines that differ only in capitalization.
Are blank lines removed?
Only if you leave 'Skip blank lines' checked (it is on by default). Uncheck it to preserve your blank separators.
How large a list can it handle?
Thousands of lines process instantly. Because it runs locally in your browser, there is no upload limit and no waiting on a server.
