How to convert SVG to PNG
- Drop one or more .svg files into the box, or paste SVG code and click “Add this SVG”.
- Pick the output size. 2x is a good default for websites and slides; use a custom width for an exact size such as 512 pixels for an app icon.
- Choose PNG for a transparent background, or JPG or WebP with a background color, then click Download. Several files download as a ZIP.
Why converting to the right size matters
SVG is a vector format: shapes are stored as math, so they stay sharp at any size. PNG, JPG and WebP are made of pixels, so you need to choose the size when you convert. This converter redraws the vector at the exact pixel size you ask for, instead of stretching a small image, so edges stay crisp even at 4x or 4000 pixels wide.
The original size comes from the SVG’s width and height, or from its viewBox if those are missing. Units like mm, cm, pt and in are converted at the standard 96 pixels per inch.

Fonts and linked images
Browsers draw SVG files on their own, without access to anything outside the file. Text using a font that is not installed on your device will fall back to a default font, and images linked from other websites will not appear. For reliable results, convert text to outlines (paths) in your design app before exporting the SVG, and embed images rather than linking them.

Frequently asked questions
Is the background transparent?
Yes, by default for PNG and WebP. JPG cannot be transparent, so it gets a white or chosen background.
What is the largest size I can export?
Up to 16,384 pixels on the longest side, which is the limit most browsers allow for an image canvas.
Why does my text look different?
The SVG uses a font that is not available to the browser. Convert text to outlines in your design software, or install the font on this device.
Can I convert PNG to SVG?
No. Turning pixels into vector shapes (tracing) is a different process that this tool does not do.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser tab, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
