How to make flashcards
- Type or paste your cards, one per line, with the term and definition separated by a | (or copy two columns from a spreadsheet).
- Study: click or press space to flip, use the arrow keys to move, and mark each card as known or still learning.
- Print the deck to make paper cards. Print double-sided, flipping on the long edge, so definitions land on the back.

Flashcards work because they make you actively recall information, which strengthens memory far more than rereading notes. Say or write the answer before you flip.
Mark cards you know and focus on the ones you are still learning; reviewing the hard cards more often is the idea behind spaced repetition. Shuffle often so you do not memorize the order.
Your decks are saved in this browser. To move a deck to another device, copy the text box and paste it there.
