Uses for a tally counter

Tally counters are handy for counting event attendance or venue capacity, laps on a track or in a pool, inventory items, traffic or wildlife surveys, stitches and rows in knitting, reps in a workout, or votes in a quick show of hands.

Multiple counters let you split counts by category, such as adults and children at a door, or different species in a bird count, with a running total across all of them.

Counts are stored only in this browser on this device, so they survive a refresh. Download a CSV to keep a permanent record or move the numbers into a spreadsheet.
