Online Voice Recorder
Record voice memos, interviews, lectures or podcast takes right in your browser. Pause and resume, play back, and download each recording as MP3 or WAV. Nothing is uploaded.
Your files never leave your device. Everything is processed in this browser tab: no upload, no server copy.
How to record audio online
- Click Record and allow microphone access when your browser asks.
- Pause and resume as needed, then click Stop. The recording appears below with a player.
- Choose MP3 or WAV and click Save. Rename it before downloading if you like.
Getting a clean recording
Record in a small, soft-furnished room (closets full of clothes are famously good), keep the microphone a hand's width from your mouth, and speak across it rather than directly into it to reduce popping sounds. Watch the level meter: speech should move it well into the green without hitting red.
Noise suppression and echo cancellation help with laptop microphones in noisy rooms; turn them off when recording music or with a good external microphone for a more natural sound.
MP3 at 128–192 kbps is ideal for voice and keeps files small; WAV is lossless and best if you will edit the audio later. Recordings live in this tab until you close it, so save the ones you want to keep.

Does it work on phones?
Yes, in modern mobile browsers. Keep the screen on while recording.
