How to make a seating chart

  1. Set the number of tables and seats per table.
  2. Paste your guest list with one party per line; names on the same line stay together.
  3. Click Assign seats, then click any guest and a table to move them. Rename tables by clicking the table name. Print or download a CSV when done.

Seating chart tips

Start with the tables that matter most: the head table or sweetheart table, close family near the front, and older guests away from speakers. Then group friends who know each other, and give each table at least one connector who can keep conversation going.

Keep couples and families together, avoid separating plus-ones, and seat children with their parents unless there is a kids' table. Leave a seat or two of flexibility for last-minute RSVPs.

Your guest list stays in this browser. Download the CSV to print escort cards or share with your venue, and update the chart whenever RSVPs change.
